Anthropos journal stimulates cooperation between the humanities and social sciences in the fields of psychology and philosophy. It is aimed at interdisciplinary and transdiciplinary work and work beyond traditional frames of disciplines. Subject areas include anthropology, psychology, philosophy, social sciences, and the humanities.




Background

The Slovene Psychologists' Association and the Slovene Philosophical Society published four to six issues a year since 1969. At first, the seat was at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana where its managing editor was Janez Musek, a professor at the Department of Psychology. After 2021 it was transferred to the University of Primorska. The journal had an international advisory board, composed of experts from the USA, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Russia. The 2004–2021 issues are available online. The journal is published in Slovenian with contents and abstracts in English.
