Dance Theatre Ljubljana

A pioneer in the development and promotion of contemporary dance in Slovenia since 1984, the Dance Theatre Ljubljana (or PTL) is one the most important contemporary dance production venues in Ljubljana, presenting both its own productions and domestic and foreign performances.

PTL offers regular professional contemporary dance classes and, since 2008, organises the biennial Ukrep - Festival of Dance Perspectives.

Emanat_Institute

Founded in 2006 by choreographer, dancer, and pedagogue Maja Delak, Emanat Institute, an Institute for the Affirmation and Development of Dance and Contemporary Art, works to affirm contemporary dance as a vital and evolving field of artistic practice. Its activities span artistic production, education, and publishing, with performance-making as the central axis. Emanat also produces the Small Arts Platform and is active within Asociacija, Association of Arts and Culture NGOs and Freelancers.
