The podcast evolved in 2022 from the hosts' informal live-streamed chatting on social media. They cover current exhibitions and projects, mostly in Ljubljana though they introduced also a series Emfazna zaledja, dedicated to the local art festivals throughout Slovenia (2025). Some episodes feature international protagonists and are available in English (e. g. chat with Marina Abramović, curators of the MeetFactory Residence Program in Prague or artists presented in the DobraVaga Gallery or at the Pixxelpoint Festival). The podcast has received support from the Ministry of Culture.
Podcast's name
The name Kritiški pose(la)dek self-ironically "derives from the intersection of the deficit profession of the art critic, hanging out over coffee, and sugar-laden snacks", which is underscored by the podcasts's graphic identity and presence in the social media.
