Galerija C.C.U. Cultural and Artistic Society (C.C.U stands for “Creative Creatures United”) was founded in 2010. Its core activity is organizing creative workshops in various handicrafts, such as drawing, sculpting, sewing and upcycling. The workshops are tailored for different age groups (children, youngsters, adults) and place a strong emphasis on using repurposed or waste materials such as paper, cardboard, used packaging or textile. Often, the workshops are accompanied with a selection of quality books for participants to read. The workshops have been held in Španski borci Culture Centre, various branches of Ljubljana City Library, Škuc Gallery, Family Center Mala ulica and other public venues.
