The Slovenian Advertising Chamber - Slovenska oglaševalska zbornica (SOZ) aims to promote the importance and the proper role of advertising and communication in society. SOZ is responsible for the ethics of advertising and communication and prepares and amends the Slovenian Advertising Codex which sets standards which must be followed.

Structure

The Chamber consists of several autonomous associations, namely the Association of Advertising Agencies of Slovenia (SZOA), the Association of Advertisers of Slovenia (SZO) and the Association of Slovene Media (SZM). The SZM groups together the media which are SOZ members (confirmed by the SOZ Board and inscribed into the Business Register of the Republic of Slovenia). The Slovenian Advertising Chamber is a member of the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) and International Advertising Association (IAA). It collaborates with the European Media Reasearch Organisation (EMRO).

Activities

The Slovenian Advertising Chamber organises the International Festival of Creativity Golden Drum and the Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF).
