Established in 1990, Fit media is a company with a rich repertoire of services; it deals in publishing, marketing communication, sustainable development, and cultural management. It is known for organising Veronika’s Evenings, a summer festival in Celje which presents two literary accolades: the Veronika Award and the Golden Coin of Poetry.

Fit Media je podjetje z bogatim repertoarjem storitev. Ukvarja se z založništvom, trženjskim komuniciranjem, trajnostnim razvojem in kulturnim managementom.

Publishing programme

Fit media publishes a diverse array of titles. Past publications include monographs and travel guides to Celje, Krško, and other place around Slovenia. To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Veronika Award, they published the anthology Pesmi Parnasa (The Poems of Parnassus). The collection Green Slovenia features environmental writings such as Zrak v Sloveniji [Air in Slovenia], Upravljanje voda v Sloveniji (Regulating Waters in Slovenia), and Odpadki v Sloveniji (Refuse in Slovenia). These are supplemented by textbooks on environmental legislation and protection. In addition, they publish ten issues annually of the scientific magazine EOL – Embalaža – okolje – logistika (Packaging — Environment - Logistics). They also co-write together with Slovene companies a report on their sustainable development and social responsibility.

International cooperation

Fit media received funding from the EU’s Culture Programme 2007—2013 for the project Euro Home Movies Net in 2009.
