Author and translator Erica Johnson Debeljak and poet Ana Pepelnik discuss how the legacy of those who have passed impacts our work and lives, focusing on Slovenian cultural figures like Metka Krašovec, Tomaž Šalamun, David Šalamun, and Aleš Debeljak. Pepelnik will read from her poetry collection nicht fisch (2023), which features poems related to the theme. The conversation will be moderated by Sebastian Walcher. Supported by the Slovenian Culture and Information Centre, Vienna (SKICA), the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Vienna.
