Presented at the annual Visions Festival of Young Theatre Groups, organised by the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia, the Vizionar Award is awarded to young makers for outstanding achievements in the fields of theatre, puppetry, dance, rock music, visual arts, and photography.

The Vizionar Award recognises excellence across different categories, including awards for the best performance by a youth theatre group, for innovative approach, for the best actor, the best ensemble, the best rock group, the best adapted text, etc.
